Yarn
  • YarnArt Jeans 01 — White
  • YarnArt Jeans 07 — Beige
  • YarnArt Jeans 40 — Brown
  • YarnArt Jeans 51 — Red (for bow tie)
  • Small amount of black embroidery thread for facial details
Hook & Tools
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • 6 mm safety eyes
  • Polyfill stuffing
  • Tapestry needle
  • Stitch markers
  • Sharp scissors
Gauge & Tension

Gauge is not critical for this project, but your stitches should be tight enough that stuffing does not show through. If your fabric feels loose, simply go down a hook size for a neat, polished finish.

Meet your new tiny woodland friend — a sweet little crochet bear wearing a charming bow tie! This beginner-friendly amigurumi project is worked in continuous spiral rounds and comes together piece by piece with simple shaping and soft details. Take your time, enjoy each round, and remember: handmade charm is what makes amigurumi so special.

Assembly

Sew the head securely onto the body. Then attach the ears evenly on top of the head. Sew the arms to the sides of the body and position the legs slightly forward so your bear can sit nicely.

Check Placement First

Before fully sewing pieces in place, pin them first to check symmetry and positioning. Small adjustments make a huge difference in the final look.

Attach the bow tie just below the head. Finally, embroider a tiny nose and smile using black thread.

Your tiny crochet bear is complete! Don’t worry if your first amigurumi isn’t perfectly symmetrical — each handmade piece has its own adorable personality.
